DESCRIPTION:PRIDE!!!!\nAugust 10 is the date!  The annual Eugene Pride parade and picnic is coming.  It is the largest Pride gathering in the state of Oregon with about 14,000 people predicted to attend!\nVolunteers are needed:\nEugene Pride Interfaith will have a hospitality area front and center, right next to the entrance.  What an amazing opportunity to demonstrate God’s love and our inclusion to all our brothers and sisters.  To find out the many ways you can volunteer, please go to interfaith@eugenepride.org ( mailto:interfaith@eugenepride.org )  or visit their website ( https://resurrectioneugene.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d53393504895f3dba59cd646e&id=8ed5d75156&e=bae42a93ec ).\nAs a church, we will proudly walk in the parade, carrying our new flag and our rainbow banner.  The flag was donated by a local business that was blown away by the fact that a church would be active in Pride.\nOther volunteer possibilities are:\n*Donations of food and water.  We can do this as a church, or you can go to the website mentioned above.\n*Staffing the hospitality area.  Sign up through the website—the cool morning opportunities are going fast.\n*Offer donations of money to others who can shop for needed supplies.\nPlease contact Deacon Lauri with any questions you might have.\n
