Announcements & Prayers

Announcements for the week of February 18th

 ADULT FORMATION

Lent Catechism begins today following the 10:30 Mass, on the Sundays in Lent.  If you are preparing for Baptism or Confirmation, are new to Resurrection, or just want to brush up on your Christian basics, join us!  Contact Fr. Brent for details.

Lenten Spiritual Practices, Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m.:  Spiritual practices help us to address our longing to connect with the divine and to deepen our relationship with the sacred world around us. Join us for Adult Formation during Lent, Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. to explore and experience various spiritual practices.  This week:  The Daily Office (led by Fr. Brent Was) The Daily Offices of Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Compline are a distinctly Anglican form of prayer, adapted from the Monastic office in the first prayer book published in 1549.  It makes the monastic office usable for all of us in our daily lives.  It is a subtle practice, but it works… and it is a bit complicated to figure out on your own.  Join Fr. Brent as we learn this form of prayer (which happens to be an excellent Lenten practice).
