Fr. Birch

The Feast of All Saints will be upon us soon, and we’ll be keeping the feast in a variety of ways:

  • An All-Eugene All Saints’ Day service at 6:00 pm on November 1 at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church (1465 Coburg Rd.) It’s my turn to preach one of our shared services, so there will be a familiar face up front. 
  • At our own service on All Saints’ Sunday (Nov. 5) we will be remembering from the altar those who have died in the past year (since last All SS.). If you have a name you would like to add to this year’s necrology, please contact me (Fr. Birch) or the church office. 
  • All Saints’ is one of the five Baptismal Feasts of the liturgical year. If you are considering the sacrament of Holy Baptism or renewing your baptismal vows, please talk with me as soon as possible.
