Advent Contemplative Retreat
The 2nd Annual Advent Contemplative Retreat will take place from December 1-3.
Join us for a Contemplative Retreat at Saint Benedict’s Lodge in McKenzie River, OR, to start the Advent season. The retreat starts at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1st and ends on Tuesday, December 3rd at 3:00 p.m. This year the retreat will feature chant, praying the labyrinth, and visio divina in addition to group contemplative prayer (no experience necessary!), instruction in centering prayer, hiking the trails, time for personal reflection and prayer, daily liturgical offices, Mass celebrated by Fr. Brent, and group meals, all in a peaceful woodsy setting along the beautiful McKenzie River. Lodging consists of private rooms in A-frame lodges with shared bathrooms. 6 meals (most special diets can be accommodated) are included. Cost, which includes 2 nights lodging and 6 meals, is $110 per person. Scholarships are available.
