One of the great things about being part of the Episcopal Church is that we are part of something bigger than ourselves. By maintaining connections among many other parishes, Dioceses and the national church are able to offer resources that are beyond the reach of any parish and to speak for justice and peace much mor loudly than any parish can. If you do not already, I hope you will subscribe to our Diocese of Oregon weekly digest and to the Episcopal News Service. Both offer learning opportunities, events, and resources from our Diocesan office, our sister parishes, and even other faith traditions. The offer programs that we might join and efforts we might emulate. They offer advice on how to minister to those around us. They also help to keep us up to date with what is happening in the wider church and connect us with our siblings across the church. Here’s how to subscribe:

Diocese of Oregon Diocesan Digest: ecwo.org, scroll to the bottom of the page and fill out the form on the bottom right

Episcopal News Service: https://episcopalnewsservice.org/signup

Individual ministries of the Episcopal Church also have their own newsletters. Here are a few places to start: Episcopal Migration Ministries, Episcopal Public Policy Network, Episcopal Office of Government Relations.
