With a wonderful Pentecost Picnic behind us (Thank you Hospitality Team!!!) we are entering the long, slow months of Ordinary time. With many of us traveling, Christian Formation for all ages will slow, the choir will take a break, and many of us will be vacationing and visiting family around the country and the world. Here at Resurrection we’ll be settling into comfortable routine, with service out of the Book of Common Prayer. As you travel, I pray that you will be blessed with new experiences, new and renewed friendships, and a reminder that Resurrection is praying with you wherever you go. I wish us all a wonderful “Great, Green, Growing Time”!

(If you visit another Episcopal Church in your travels, please remember to bring me a copy of their bulletin and your impressions of the things they are doing well.)

The Basement
Construction has begun on the parish hall floor. That means the basement will not be available for use for the next week and a half or so. The contractors have been doing an excellent job of containing dust and keeping us aware of their progress. In the next couple weeks we’ll be ready to take volunteers to help with repairing the drywall and baseboards and painting the walls. We’ll let you know as soon as we can schedule our work.
