A New Experiment – A Summer Service Schedule

Beginning on Sunday June 7 we will be trying a new thing. At its meeting last week, the Vestry decided unanimously to change to a single service schedule for the summer and after much discussion, we decided to hold that service at 9:30 am. Our hope is that a single service will help the church to feel fuller during the summer as we travel, help build relationships between the members of the 8:00 and 10:30 congregations, free up more of the beautiful summer day for the 10:30 regulars, and help avoid the heat that builds up in the nave for the later service. Thank you all for your thoughts in the weeks leading up to this decision. Please let us know how it feels for you and your household as the weeks go by.

We’ll go back to our regular schedule in the fall on Rally Day (October 4 this year).
