Service Times Return to Usual
The Vestry has voted to suspend our arrangements with St. Matthew’s until further notice. This means that beginning this Sunday, October 20, our service times will return to 8:00 and 10:30 am.

Children, Youth, and Families at Resurrection
At the Church of the Resurrection, we want to provide age-appropriate education for all children, enriching experiences for youth, and support for parents. In this time of cultural change, however, we cannot do these things the way we used to. Each class would be just a single child. Instead, this year we are trying an experiment – a one room schoolhouse approach for all children, youth and their parents. We’ll gather in the yellow room at 9:45 on the first Sunday of each month and we’ll hear a bible story relevant to the season, using Godly Play as appropriate. Then, while the younger children do their “work” of responding to the story they have just heard, the older youth and parents can have some deeper conversation. We’ve never done it this way before (the 7 last words of the Church), and we’re looking forward to some new adventures. Children from advanced preschool age and up and their parents are all invited!
